SPDP-E

The receiving station of data from the SPDP-E data collection platforms operates on the basis of the antenna system of the SPOI-E system.

SPDP-E is designed to perform the following main functions:

  • reception of meteorological information retransmitted from data acquisition platforms directly from the Electro L spacecraft in the mode of multiple-access access with time-frequency channel separation with periodicity tied to synoptic terms (after 3 hours) in the frequency range 1697 MHz with transmission rates 100 bit / s (international channels), 1200 bit / s (national channels);
  • primary processing of received information;
  • delivery of meteorological information received from the Electro-L satellite to consumers via terrestrial communication channels;
  • accumulation and archiving of meteorological data.

The amount of data received from the collection platforms is:

  • for international channels - up to 5192 bits in each message;
  • for national channels - up to 15,000 bits in each message.
